Created to succeed Audio Physic’s highly successful Classic Series, Stream Line takes years of research and development to elevates the listening experience far beyond what would be considered “entry level.” Designed from the ground up with new carbon and Kevlar drivers and heavily braced clean-sheet cabinetry, Stream proves that entry-level and excellence can be one and the same.
At the heart of the new line’s development is a clear mission statement: maximum acoustic performance at attractive pricing, thus opening a new tier of accessibility for discerning music lovers. High quality materials, precise manufacturing processes, and careful coordination of all components ensure that the speakers can fill large rooms with sound and achieve a significantly higher level of musicality than usual in this price range.
Advanced Mechanics
With the Stream Line, Audio Physic brings advanced carbon diaphragm technology to the entry-level for the first time. Constructed of a carbon cone structure molded in a high-temperature, high-pressure manufacturing process derived from NASA and Formula racing construction, the new Stream tweeters ensure maximum rigidity with minimum resonance and weight, the ideal mix for accurate pistonic movement and unexpected dynamics. The 45mm “Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm” cone tweeter (HHCT-TPCD) achieves extremely fast impulse response, impeccable detail resolution, and the purest high-frequency response available, even at high volume levels.
The 180mm midbass driver features a Kevlar cone and delivers powerful, controlled bass and transient response across its entire assigned frequency range.
Technically speaking this sounds very impressive. Musically speaking, it means perfection down to the tiniest detail and performance unheard of in speakers in this price range.
Timeless Aesthetics
Available in multiple premium finishes including satin white, satin black, and real walnut veneer, Stream Line relies on a clear, minimalist design language. The aim is to combine technical precision and visual lightness. The speakers have a modern and unobtrusive look and at the same exude high-quality, being as beautiful to look at as they are to hear, their restrained profiles complementing any interior, both classic and contemporary.
For flexible applications in sophisticatedly furnished living environments, the STREAM LINE series relies on a clear, restrained design language. The aim is to combine technical precision and visual lightness. The speakers look modern, unobtrusive and at the same time high-quality.
Elegant surface variants such as real wood veneer in walnut matt and high-quality lacquers in matt black and matt white are available. The cabinet is made of multi-braced MDF and is optimized for stability and low resonance.
A core technological feature of the STREAM LINE series is the first use of modern carbon membrane technology in the entry-level range.
Among other things, 45 millimeter diameter “Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm” tweeters (TPCD/HHCT) and 180 mm woofers and bass-midrange drivers with carbon Kevlar cone are used.
This combination enables exceptionally precise and fast signal processing. The tweeter is characterized by an extremely fast impulse response and outstanding detail resolution in the high-frequency range. Even at high volumes, playback remains stable, controlled, and free of distortion. The woofers and bass-midrange drivers used ensure a powerful, yet controlled bass response. Low frequencies are reproduced with high authority and precision, while midrange reproduction remains clear, dynamic and natural. The materials used are based on aerospace and motorsport technologies. This origin stands for special rigidity, low weight and maximum resilience – properties that flow directly into the sound performance.
In addition to the central drivers, the models of the STREAM LINE series rely on high-quality components such as WBT nextGEN terminals with aluminum terminals, which promise low-loss signal transmission. The bass reflex construction is on the back of the STREAM 1 and on the back and bottom of the STREAM 3. This enables optimal bass yield and flexible placement in the room – even without pieces of furniture having to give way.
