The audio industry legend, Michael Fremer, stopped into the Monarch Systems exhibition suite (listening room 434) at the 2026 AXPONA show. In his Tracking Angle show report on YouTube, tune in at 8:19 to listen to Mr. Fremer discuss the technical details and upgrades from SME’s Alester Kells as he introduces the AXPONA show debut of the Model 35 and Rich Maez show off the Franc Audio Accessories Wood Block Platform with Carbon Fiber in a custom paint finish of the Porsche Livery Racing Colors.

Monarch Systems presented a couple of demo setups at AXPONA 2026, including the one in Room 434, where they ran an active demo system and displayed other products passively. The demo system included a pair of Audio Physic Tempo SL speakers in matte ebony veneer connected to brand-new Audio Physic Rhea III Reference Series active subwoofers, Franc Audio Accessories modular racks, and Siltech Classic Legend line cables throughout.
Also at AXPONA 2026, Monarch had partnered with Vinnie Rossi — the latest gearmaker to join their roster — in putting together a higher-end demo system on another floor, specifically up in Room 1505, which included an SME Model 15 turntable along with a Vinnie Rossi Brama preamp and a B.Audio DAC.

The analog source in Room 1505 is an SME Model 15 Mk2 turntable with an SME V arm (total $25,219) and a Benz Micro LP cartridge ($6,000) fed into a Vinnie Rossi phono preamplifier.

Distributor Monarch had two rooms, the first with a range of the products they distribute on static display — including products from Vinnie Rossi whom they have just started distributing, Audio Physic speakers, Chario speakers, B.audio electronics, SME turntables, Loricraft record cleaners, and more. In their demo room they had a pair of Audio Physic Tempo SL speakers, accompanied by Audio Physic subs, SME Model 8 with Lyra Kleos cartridge and B.audio Alpha One integrated amplifier. As usual, Monarch had made the room look fab too, this was a great space.
