French high-end audio electronics specialist and manufacturer B.audio introduce their new optional phono stage module.
NEW PHONO MODULE
The module offers users the ability to connect a turntable directly to B.audio’s Alpha One integrated amplifier or any of their DAC-preamplifiers without sound quality compromise.
Benefitting from the team’s experience in analog circuit design and the lessons learned during the development of B.audio’s reference electronics, each aspect of the phono stage has been carefully engineered to deliver the highest performance, such as a low-noise input stage featuring matched-transistors and passive RIAA correction utilizing two distinctive stages.
Both moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges are supported, and multiple settings are selectable to match any cartridge needs, including multiple load and gain adjustments that can be changed live via the unit’s remote control.

A full analog system featuring an Alpha One with phono stage was presented at the last High End Munich exhibition.
COMPATIBILITY & AVAILABILITY
This new optional phono board can be installed in the following B.audio units:
- B.dpr One
